This is a full time position which requires sufficient flexibility to meet client deadlines. A highly competitive package will be offered to the successful candidate.

Audit and accounts senior

Working as part of the firm’s centralised audit function and our Peterborough accounts department, the main responsibilities of the role involve:

  • Completion of larger audit assignments for manager review, to include supervision and guidance of more junior team members on site
  • Responsibility for individual smaller audit assignments
  • Completion of larger accounts preparation assignments

The essential skills, qualifications and experience required

  • ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Minimum of 3 years’ audit based work experience supported by an in depth knowledge of accounts preparation work
  • Proven ability in the control and supervision of a junior staff members working as part of audit assignment teams
  • High level of experience in an environment using computer based audit, tax and accounts compliance systems
