David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1982. He has been with Bulley Davey since 1979 and at the Oundle office, where his family are local farmers, since 1983. David has retained his interest in agriculture, dealing with many farming clients. Whilst remaining a General Practitioner, his particular area of expertise is personal Taxation, including Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning.

David has been a member of the committee of the Mid-Anglia branch of The Chartered Institute of Taxation for many years, and is the current secretary, as well as a past chairman. He is also the current chairman of the Peterborough Group of Chartered Accountants.

Away from work, David’s main interests are sport related, now mostly as a spectator, although he is still a keen skier. He is still heavily involved in Oundle Rugby Club, where he is currently Treasurer, having previously played and coached there for many years.
