£25 million in grants now available to farmers

The third round of the popular Countryside Small Grant Scheme (CPSG) has now opened and £25 million is available to farmers until noon 4 November 2020.

The Countryside Productivity Scheme, administered by the Rural Payments Agency, provides funding to improve productivity and help create growth in the rural economy. Farmers can apply for small grants of between £3,000 and £12,000 to buy new equipment aimed at saving time and improving productivity.

Specific eligible items can be found here and will assist in improving:

    • Technical efficiency
    • Animal welfare
    • Resource efficiency or
    • Nutrient management

Who can apply

Grants are available to farmers in the livestock, dairy, arable and horticultural sectors.
