Bulley Davey, has announced Pancreatic Cancer UK as their charity of the year for 2019/20.
The Bulley Davey team raise money for a chose charity every year and decided on Pancreatic Cancer UK. The charity provides support for those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and funds research.
Last year Bulley Davey raised over £2,500 for Breast Cancer Care, through a 10k fun run, their annual quiz and dress down days. Further totals were raised through individual offices’ fundraising – including £750 for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall and £1,400 for Macmillan Cancer’s Coffee Morning.
Speaking about their latest charity plans, Director Mitchell Burden, said: “We’re excited to be starting on another fundraising journey, this time in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK – who do amazing work for those who are going through treatment, as well as their families handling the diagnosis. Last year we raised a great sum for Breast Cancer Care and we’re confident we can do the same over the next year.
“At Bulley Davey we believe in giving back and doing our bit for charity – and the likes of Pancreatic Cancer UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Sue Ryder and more are doing incredible work to benefit the lives of those in need. We can’t wait to get started.”
