Andy joined Bulley Davey in 1991 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 before becoming a partner in 2001. He has a broad client base covering many differing industries across South Lincolnshire and has built his current portfolio on the basis of offering good advice in plain English and taking a pro-active interest in the success of his clients. Andy has experience in all aspects of accounting, auditing and taxation which he combines with commercial awareness to help provide his clients with advice and tax planning services.
Andy became a Director as part of our incorporation into Bulley Davey Limited from 1st November 2014.
Andy aims to provide clients with management information rather than just management accounts, and has helped many clients develop sophisticated reporting of key performance indicators to enable them to manage and develop their businesses. More recently Andy has widened his skills in the field of strategic planning, to help his clients grow and achieve their business goals. He encourages his clients to spend time working on, rather than in, their business to enable them to stay one step ahead of their competition. He also advises on all aspects of corporate finance including business acquisitions, business sales and business restructuring.
A young family currently prevents Andy from his usual level of sporting activity, but he continues to maintain a single-figure handicap at golf. Whilst Andy does not play as much competitive golf as he would like, he keeps his involvement in the sport as the Honorary Auditor for Spalding Golf Club. Andy has also recently finished a three-year stint as a Committee member at Spalding Golf Club.
